Project One
My concept's origin began while I was outside shooting for this first project. I knew I wanted it to involve something with architecture. My eye was drawn to all of the reflections I saw in the windows. I was intrigued that it was mimicking an image but was not the actual representation of it. I shot several reflections in Charleston, SC that day. I chose to work with this image because I believe it was one of the strongest. I wanted to spotlight the intensity of the light hitting the top of the building. I enjoyed working with the exterior window's texture. I wanted a painterly pallet I think that was successful. I think this image may have lacked to emotive quality but I learned many brand new features of photoshop. As mentioned in critique the focus should have been tested sharper.
